FedEx: Why global “Access” is something entrepreneurs should all be thinking about

Hosted by JA Europe & FedEx
July 8th, 14:00-15:00 (CET)

Join Helena Jansson, Chief Financial Officer of FedEx Express International, to hear from the world’s largest transportation company, why you, as entrepreneurs, have such potential to fuel future socio-economic growth. Helena will also walk you through what impresses the FedEx panel most in your small businesses, and why the FedEx Access Award is intended to spark your international ambitions. In open conversation with Helena, you’ll gain an understanding of the readiness of your own business to access new markets and how logistics can support your business in delivering on its growth plans.

Helena is a board member of JA Europe and the executive champion of FedEx Express Europe support for entrepreneurship. She has previously sat on the main jury of the Swedish Company of the Year Competition and joined the FedEx panel at last year’s JA Europe Company of the Year Competition in Lille. She pioneered a finance talent management program within FedEx, and has particular interest in the subject of female leadership.

FedEx Express provides charitable grants in support of the Junior Achievement Company program in several European markets and has sponsored the JA Europe Company of the Year Competition in Europe for over a decade. A network of team members from all disciplines of the business act as mentors to student teams and FedEx executives actively support entrepreneurial education in Spain, Romania, France, Sweden and the Netherlands.

The FedEx Access award has been a long-standing signature award at JA Company of the Year Competitions in Europe and other world regions for over a decade. FedEx has since cascaded this award to other European country competitions in order to recognise and reward businesses with a product or service ready to access.
